My friend needs help in replacing his windshield. Any tips on how to replace car windshield? According to him, I just need to help him with the “preparation” process.

When you replace car windshield, there are three processes involve – preparation, the removal of windshield and replacing the windshield.
The preparation method itself is not that complicated. It only involves three simple steps. The first step with the preparation process is that you need to remove the rear view mirror that’s inside your friend’s vehicle. To do this, make sure to unscrew just one mirror base’s screw (as you can see there are two screws present).
The second step involves another uncomplicated process and this is where you start removing the windshield wipers of the vehicle. Lift the windshield in a cleaning position, to make it easier for you to install it. Then, with using a flat screwdriver, start prying the windshield wipers up.
Now going to the third and last step involve in the preparation process; you can complete this by using a masking tape then sealing the heater vents inside the vehicle. This step will prevent flakes or other broken glass from entering the vents which could be blown inside the car.
